Sadık Karamustafa

Graphic designer. 1946, born in Turkey. Studied graphic design in State Fine Arts Academy, Istanbul. 1979, after working some years in advertising agencies and publishing companies, founded his own design studio. 1983-1995, worked for the Turkish Society of Graphic Designers (GMK) as board member, secretary general and president. 1995-1999, Vice -President Icograda. 1989, began
teaching in Mimar Sinan University, Istanbul. 1981- 2008, won more than 50 national awards for his posters, books, logos, exhibition designs, magazines, brochures etc. in GMK annual exhibitions and in several competitions. 2000, special prize in 4th Asia Graphic Poster Triennial, Seoul, Korea. 2002, Plovdiv International Fair Posters, Honorary Diploma Award. 2002, an exhibition of his works is organized in DDD Gallery, Osaka, Japan. 2003, one man show in Tokyo GGG Gallery and Nagoya Design Museum.
Sadık Karamustafa is a member of AGI, Alliance Graphique Internationale.
