Osman Tülü

Born in 1960. He began his career in 1982 working for the daily newspaper Dünya Gazetesi. In 1986–89, he established the firm Yazıevi in partnership with the graphic designer and poet, Sait Maden. In 1993, he won the third prize at “The Turkish National Computer Word-Processing Championship” in the
categories of “Text Production” and “Text Correction with PC”. In the same year, he won the 12th place at the “40th International Championship of Text Correction with PC”. Since 1995, he has served as a member of the jury at the “Congress and World Computer Keyboard Championships” organized bi-annually by the International Federation for Information Processing (INTERSTENO). Since 1990, he’s been running his independent design practice in his own studio Tipograf Grafik Reklam Yapım (Typographer Graphics Advertising Production). His clients include: BEK Design, Bülent Erkmen, Grup 7 Communication Services, İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, Karel Electronics, Turkish Society of Graphic Design, Koleksiyon Furniture, Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi & Sons, Maçka Art Gallery, Mudo (Mustafa Taviloğlu), Advertising Association, Sabancı Holding, Şakir Eczacıbaşı, Şevki Pekin Architecture, History Foundation, Tekfen Holding, Türkiye İş Bank, Türkiye İş Bank Publications, TÜYAP, Z Kart Printing and Distribution. Since 2007, he’s been a member of the executive committee at the Turkish Association of Graphic Design.
